The Sunland-Tujunga community is very important to me. I know that it takes a team to maintain a community that benefits all its residents. I have had executive experience in both corporate and non-profit organizations. As a local Toastmasters Club officer, I have worked to promote public participation in our community including founding the Toast Of The Town Awards to recognize community members who use public speaking and leadership in service to the community. I first joined the STNC in 2018 as the Toastmasters Representative and in 2019 was then elected to the Council. In that time I served as STNC representative to the Budget Advocates Committee, and as a member the Community Improvement and Government Affairs Committee, and the Elections Committee. I plan to revive the Youth and Education Committee. Coming from a multi-ethic background, I understand and appreciate the needs of our various community members and hope to serve them well.
