The Sustainability Alliance has long been a supporter of the public bank effort, which is gaining legs and councilmember support! Come join us this Sunday, October 12 to learn how a public bank in Los Angeles could help our sustainability efforts and what we need to do to bring one here to LA. Lawn to Habitat applications open!
After a successful Lawn to Habitat project in Leimert Park with our many volunteers and partner organizations and a second one in Palms, we want to do it again! If you live in, own, or are otherwise connected to a multi-family residential property in the city of Los Angeles with a grass lawn and would like to see it converted to a 100% California-native plant yard with water capture features, this could be your opportunity.
