EmpowerLA invites you to attend Empowering Communities: Understanding Neighborhood Councils & Stakeholders Role in City Budget Advocacy on Thursday, January 29, 2026, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. 

 

This virtual interactive session will provide a detailed overview of the City's annual budget process cycle, highlight opportunities for Neighborhood Councils and community members to actively participate, and ensure their voices are heard throughout the annual budget cycle.

Additionally, we will introduce the Neighborhood Council Budget Advocates and cover strategies for effective engagement during Budget Day in June. The goal of this session is to prepare you with the necessary tools to advocate for the essential City services and programs your neighborhood requires.
